Brief Biography:
"Trained as an architect and urban designer, Abhijit is an avid traveler, who loves architecture, cities, books, and cinema. After completing his master's from SPA, New Delhi, he traveled to Africa, Asia, and India for work. After gaining International experience, Abhijit established his own firm, Shunya Studio, to demonstrate his ideas of place-making and urban design.
Abhijit's interest lies in developing a comprehensive understanding of urban design by studying it from various perspectives, mainly through novels, history books, and cinema. His Master's thesis revolved around the investigation of how memory can be used in architecture, urban design, or urban space design to create an experiential understanding of space. His latest professional work, 'Memory and the City' is an extension of his Master's thesis work.
