Brief Biography:
"Bhagyashree Bandekar completed her B.Arch in 2013 from Academy of Architecture, Mumbai while being an active participant in the Louis I. Kahn trophy for NASA throughout her B.Arch. She completed her Masters of Landscape Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad in 2017.
Bhagyashree has interned and later worked with SJK architects in Mumbai, where she worked on various hospitality projects developing a keen understanding in Design of outdoor spaces. This was followed by a stint at Abha Narain Lambah and associates. She later worked as a junior Architect with Ar Bhakti Thakoor, at Enviroscape, a landscape design and planning firm based in Mumbai for a year where she was involved with a variety of landscape projects ranging from residential to industrial, here her interest in the field of landscape was strengthened. Later during her Masters at CEPT she participated in various site based studies related to the city and its fabric which included a summer school held at Milan, Italy where she was part of a team undertaking documentation and analysis of Urban Open Spaces which has contributed towards her own interest in the city and its landscape. The learnings from her Masters has also inculcated a keen interest in Research of Urban landscapes.
Bhagyashree has taught at undergraduate architecture as well as Masters in Landscape Architecture at L.S.Raheja School of Architecture ,Mumbai for the past year (Dec2017-Dec 2018) before moving to Pune,as well as starting off her own practice."
