1. Student Competition- Age Group 13-18 Years and Age Group 19-25 Years
2. Non-competition Category: No Age limit
Under this category the Special Jury Mention award will be given exclusively to one winning film.
Film Categories
1. Fiction : 30 Minutes maximum
2. Non-Fiction : 30 Minutes maximum
3. Animation : 15 Minutes maximum
4. Mobile Phone Films : 10 Minutes maximum
5. Ad Films : 03 Minutes maximum
(No minimum time limit applies to any category. Films longer than the given duration can still be considered.)

- Each Participant can propose in 3 categories maximum.
- Each award category will incur a charge of 500/- INR
- Nominating in more than one category will increase the chances of winning.

The Brick Film Festival organized by SMEF'S Brick Group of Institutes, provides an opportunity for filmmakers, especially young filmmakers aged 13–25, to engage in a diverse, sustainable, and culturally rich tradition of cinematic storytelling through filmmaking education and film festivals.
As a prominent academic institution, SMEF'S Brick Group of Institutes is dedicated to democratizing film education and offering the highest quality film literacy to young minds.
